Al Overdrive is a photographer who specialises in close-up, involved images mostly focussed on rock music and the associated culture. With little self-publicity he has amassed a body of work with mostly speaks for itself, every image in this book has a story attached to it. This is his first collection, having forsaken offering by publishing companies to retain full control over the distribution and pressing of the book. This book features a collection of his images covering a range of modern alternative underground culture including punk, metal, rockabilly, hardcore, extreme body modification, tattooing and the emerging all-female sport of Rollerderby.
